Since 2012, the LOGICA Centre has acted as one of the sole spaces
for both small businesses and children within the Northern West Bank
communities. We have always and continue to face many challenges. For years,
our hearts have beat in rhythm with the laughter and dreams of thousands of
children and the determined strides of women and youth building better futures.
We have been directly involved in the education and well-being of thousands of
families. We’ve held graduations, celebrated new enterprises, and witnessed the
change and resilient spirit of our community rise through our different
initiatives.
This laid the foundation of what has eventually evolved into a dynamic dual mission. We are both a thriving hub for entrepreneurs, fostering innovation and enterprise, and a safe, supportive community centre where children can cultivate essential life skills in a caring environment. Trusted by thousands of individuals, families and organisations, LOGICA is where a hand is given and futures are built.
Today, the areas where children once played and learned are now
scarred by death, destruction, and loss. The vibrant enterprises led by women
now lie in ruins, where few struggle to continue their work. Survival has
become the only goal and now a daily battle, and the invisible wounds—the
trauma, the grief, the paralysing fear—are intensifying silently in the lives
of those we serve.
The human catastrophe in the West Bank is critical and
overwhelming. In response, LOGICA has adapted its entire operation to address
the most urgent needs on the ground. Our Urgent Intervention Programme focuses
on two critical pillars of survival and hope:
Emergency Relief for the Most Vulnerable: We provide
immediate, vital aid to children and families who have lost everything. This
includes medicine, food, nutrition, milk, water, and nappies. Moreover, we
provide safe spaces and specialised programmes that protect children, with a
focus on mental wellbeing and life skills. We held regular sessions using
sport, art, and theatre as tools to reduce the devastating effects of trauma
among children and mothers.
Sustaining Life and Livelihoods: We ensure the continuity of
small family businesses, the last line of defence for community food security
and economic survival. We focus critical support on farmers, greenhouses and
bakeries to keep food and bread available, where hundreds of projects are being
supported by our team. We also provide consultations by experts who help those
enterprises overcome the challenges and solve problems.
Our team of over 20 dedicated local coordinators is working tirelessly on the front lines in the devastated areas of Tulkarem, Jenin and Nablus to direct aid where it is needed most. Those coordinators have been intensively involved in our programs since 2012, and they have received intensive training in Amman, Brussels and Germany that made them professional and trustworthy in their communities.
